Margaux Helvey

Driven by her personal mission for social impact, Margaux Helvey combines best practices in fundraising strategies and organizational development, along with more than 15 years of management experience in the nonprofit sector. Her goal is to help nonprofits improve fundraising, for good. For this reason, Margaux’s approach always has a goal toward sustainability. She not only helps her clients achieve immediate results, but along the way, she shares resources, insights, and coaching that will empower the development staff, and even the Board Members, Event Chairs, and Executive Team, to repeat and improve the process for future success.

Margaux’s point of view stems from a unique dual degree in business (MBA) and social work (MSW) from the University of Southern California and a bachelor's degree from the University of Virginia. She held vice president and director positions in fund development and community engagement at LA Family Housing and the Downtown Women’s Center before beginning her consulting practice. In other capacities, she has worked for organizations ranging from the Salvation Army to Deloitte. She has served on various nonprofit boards and is currently an appointed member of the Advisory Board of the Brittingham Social Enterprise Lab at the USC Marshall School of Business.
